Characterization[]
Ezekiel is the troupe’s redneck. His underdeveloped social skills are a side effect of lifelong home schooling. Chris has described him as “misogynistic”; but, although innocently sexist, there is no evidence that Zeke actually dislikes the female of the species. Of all the cast, Ezekiel received the least amount of character development, and is the only character who speaks like a stereotypical Canadian.
Ezekiel is one of several TDI characters with a reasonably close analog (Robin Oakapple in Ruddigore) in the Gilbert & Sullivan series.

The sons of the tillage
Who dwell in this village
Are people of lowly degree—degree.
Though honest and active,
They’re most unattractive,
And awkward as awkward can be—can be.
They’re clumsy clodhoppers,
With axes and choppers,
And shepherds and ploughmen
And drovers and cowmen
And hedgers and reapers
And carters and keepers,
But never a lover for me!
